The girls play in Festivals once a fortnight during the season September to June (they have December and April off).
The teams come from all over Yorkshire and all teams are asked (if they have the facilities) to host at least one every season.
To help promote girls playing rugby, a team can be one player, or a full squad. They join together with other teams and play 9, 11, or 13 a-side depending on numbers on the day.
We started the season with 3 x U16 players, and we were at Farnley for the first Festival on September 19th.
At Meltham we hosted our first tournament on 17 October, with our U12's making their debut. Our next tournament will be on 8 May in Broadlands Recreation Ground - kick off at 10.30am.
